Call Center Representative

The Rep for Vets - Tampa, FL

November 2021 to May 2022

As a call center representative with the Rep for Vets, it was my duty to assist our Veterans with getting them the disability benefits they deserved. I was able to show empathy toward our Veterans and walk them through the process while making conference calls to the VA. Receiving confidential information to determine if our advocate was able to get the Veteran 100% disability. While we were not able to take on each Veteran as a client, I could never just turn them away. After doing my own research, I was able to provide each Veteran with specific resources that could assist with the filing process and resources that would even file for them. Although some Vets were angry or disappointed that we could not accept them at that time, by the end of the call each Vet was happy that they now knew what to do, where to go, who to call and what important documents they needed to file correctly and get the process started. I quickly moved up to Conference Calling where we had accepted the Veteran but needed additional important information and codes to verify with both VA and Veteran before sending the packages to the Vet for signatures. I also was learning and assisting different departments within the company to assure deadlines were met, documents were sent out and ALL calls were returned. I was very proud of my roll at this company.

Answering phones, monitoring up to seven different lines, and screening more than 150+ calls daily, I was committed to customer satisfaction. In addition to data entry, I was responsible for producing a high level of accuracy and attention to detail for all real estate contracts. In my role as a closing coordinator, maintaining a positive relationship of mutual respect and trust with lenders, real estate agents, title examiners and both buyers and sellers is imperative to a smooth closing transaction. As both receptionist and closing coordinator, time management is essential when processing each file, as ordering, receiving and verifying the necessary required documents is crucial and must be completed before the agreed closing date, on the signed contract. As a member of a team, I recognize and respect my role and the roles of my fellow colleagues. The ability to work effectively under high pressure and dedication to the team are two of my best qualities.
