I am looking for a full or part- time position in the Erie area in the Accounting field. I am available to work at your office and or remote. I have a designated office area for client privacy. My current remote position does not give enough work to have a 40 hour work week.
December 2021 – Current
Erie Times News Carrier. 92 clients on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday deliveries, 103 clients on Thursday and Friday deliveries and 130 clients on Sunday deliveries. Average pay $200/week.
June 4 2020 - Current
I work at home doing Bookkeeping and Collections for a Doctor in the Erie area. The bookkeeping is done through Quick Books and I enter most transactions based on checks and bank statements for direct deposits. The Doctor also has me sending out statements on past due accounts. I work with the clients to take care of past due and other problems on their accounts. I have averaged 13 to 20 hours a week based on work that needs to be done. As of 9/2020, I am making $13.00/ hour.

Receptionist at Doctor’s office. Took care of filing, phone calls and setting up appointments. Later learned to do medical billing. After the office was moved, I was changed to a remote position. (Not covid related).

During college I was hired for part-time evenings for bookkeeping and was taught during this time
to set up appointments, make copies for the clients, prepare state and local income taxes and during
my 1984 internship I was assigned to complete a small business tax forms from the bookkeeping,
federal, state and local forms, copies and prepare the bill. I received high marks and praise. I
returned to work for Mr. Yeager in 1990 to help in the evenings while I was working full- time.
I completed income tax forms that included federal, state, and local forms, later helping with S-Corp
Forms. (All by hand). I helped with quarterly payroll filings and I also did bookkeeping for clients by
coding off their check stubs. I would enter the account numbers into a sorting machine which gave
me totals for each account. I would create journal entries, enter the entries into the general ledger
using Peachtree software, and print the Income Statement and Balance Sheet for the month.

Bradstreet or by calling their references. I applied checks and wires against customer accounts
and released customer shipments if on hold. I called on past due accounts and did a Tooling
report using Lotus. Worked under the assistant CEO. I left because I had a child.

Accounts Payable (5 years): I would match packing slips with invoices, enter the invoices into the
computer system and print checks when the invoices were due. I would create credit memos if
quantities and pricing did not match purchase orders.
Accounts Receivable (3 years): I matched invoices to the paystubs and enter the payments against
the customer’s account, and called on past due accounts. Company bought out.
