Program and Management
• In coordination with the project manager, prepares, manages, and regularly updates the project activities work plan, ensuring timely and quality implementation in compliance with the defined project strategy as well as INTERSOS and donor guidelines.
• Attends regular meetings with team leads/field staff to discuss programme progress, challenges and take corrective measures as required and develop action plans.
• Actively participate along-with other project leads in coordination meetings, if requested.
• Participate in the development of relevant activities, including monitoring and assessment.
• Supervise, coach and mentor supervisees, delegating responsibilities as appropriate.
• Prepare accurate budget forecast/expenditure plans.
• Support capacity building to project staff and ensure compliance and transparency.
• Contribute to drafting of project concept notes, proposals, and draft reports (including flash updates, weekly/bi-weekly, Monthly and end of project reports).

• Supervise the payment of volunteers and other support staff.

• Collects and checks field financial documents (invoices, receipts, attendance sheets, e.t.c) and forward to Maiduguri finance office to ensure timely processing and payment of vendors.
• Ensure regular performance appraisal and career management of staff under supervision.

• Contribute to the development on procurements, ensuring INTERSOS and donor requirements are met, and proper documentation is collected and maintained for all procurements.

• Managing the design and implementation of program and operational activities in Borno state.
• Ensure quality delivery of program activities such as monitoring against log frames, budget forecast and reporting and monitoring on the BvA.
• In close collaboration with the sector leads and project focal points, manage project field activities while ensuring project objectives are being achieved as well as ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our fieldwork.

• The DRC COVID-19 project is a multisector project comprising of Health, WaSH, and Protection

• Follow up of the IPC and COVID-19 related PSS activities being implemented by DRC.

• During this period, I have delivered PPEs to health care facilities, distributed hygiene kits recruited hygiene promoters for carrying out hygiene promotion campaigns, participated in the EOC meetings, train DSNOs and carried out assessment to rehabilitate latrines and other wash facilities all in Adamawa state. (PSS), Gender Based Violence training, Caring for Child Survivor training (CCS) as well as Clinical Care for Sexually Assaulted Survivor training (CCSAS). All to community stakeholders, health workers as well as behavioral change training such as Engaging Men Through Accountable Practices (EMAP), Discussion Group Series (DGS) and Start Awareness Support Action (SASA) to Beneficiaries, Health workers, community stake holders and paramilitaries.
Achievements.
• I have worked with other prevention staff to form and monitor VSLA across Michika, Hong, Maiha, Mubi North and South, Yola North and south all of Adamawa state.
• I have also form EMAP groups in the above-mentioned locations of Adamawa state.
• Being a community engagement officer, I establish collaborative relationships with collaborating partners, local authorities in particular the ministry of women affairs and social development, the police, and medical personnel to ensure that trainings are developed to meet their needs.
• In coordination with the WPE training assistants, assist with community mobilization for all GBV trainings and activities.
• In collaboration with the EASE officer assist in the assessment, awareness raising session and formation of EASE groups.
• Follow up with training participants on Monthly basis to determine the level of knowledge gain.
• Ensure the formation of Women, Men and youth groups and develop guidelines for the formation of these groups and their roles with reference to the Nigerian context.
• Took lead in awareness raising sessions to commemorate international events such as but not limited to International Women’s Day, 16 days of activism and international day of the girl child and submit a comprehensive report to the senior program manager.
