managing and posting all accounts payables and receivables for multi location practices; employee and physician payroll; payroll and quarterly tax statements; utilizing bookkeeping software ; analyzing practice financial and production data; maintaining a large monthly budget; attending physician meetings to present and interpret financial and production reports, educate on compliance issues; assisting with contracts, maintaining all insurance, professional licenses and hospital credentials; creating physician and staff schedules; interfacing with physicians and billing staff to track, monitor and manage billing/account status, problem solving and initiating solutions; supporting and assisting the companies daily activities; communication with hospital executives, physicians and staff regarding patient care or quality control, pre-admit prior authorizations for private, commercial, Medicare/Medicaid plans, new practice start up, arrange direct admits or inpatient consultations, discharge planning, ordering lab and patient follow up care; create daily physician census, monitor patient flow; oversee any personnel matters and maintaining a harmonious work environment; enforcing OSHA and HIPAA compliance; maintain Medicare/Medicaid regulations; knowledge of relevant federal and state regulatory guidelines (e.g., CMS, NCQA, HIPAA; )availability 24 hours a day for doctors and hospital staff; physician “sales” and recruitment; managing CEO’s personal accounts and real estate properties; Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple or competing priorities, including use of multiple computer applications simultaneously
