Responsibilities:

● Team Building
The first Major Gift Officer was assigned to unite the fundraising efforts of the Department of Pediatrics and U-M C. S. Mott Children’s Hospital.
Recruited, trained, and generated funding for three additional Gift Officers and a Development Assistant, thereby forming the Children’s Health Team.
Increased gifts, pledges, and bequests to Pediatrics and Children’s Hospital from approximately $1 million annually to $5 million in 24 months.
● Campaign Planning
Spearheaded the Champions for Children Campaign for the replacement of the University of Michigan’s C. S. Mott Children’s Hospital.
Established a philanthropy leadership committee co-chaired by Regent David Brandon and Head Football Coach, Lloyd Carr in the fall of 2004.
Coordinated the Champions for Children Campaign kick-off for the opening day of the University of Michigan’s $2.5 billion campaign. Over 400 attended the kickoff, making it the best-attended unit program across campus.
