Completed 22 years of military service as a commissioned officer in Sri Lanka Army from 31 May 1990 to 31 May 2012, and gave the active leadership for Operational and Administrative task for military and non-military task in war and post war scenario with responsibility. As a rank of major of SL Army performed the duties entrusted and responsibilities to me in command and staff appointments with effectively during my military career. My military career progress is as fallows;
01. Staff Officer 11 of Base Work Shop at Signals Corp – Panagoda (13th
Aug 2010 to 31 May 2012)
• Supervised the Headquarters team of 09 subordinate officers and 514 Noncommissioned officers to archive the operational, logical and administrative need of signal Brigade and under command four Squadrons.
• Supervised the maintenance, Security, Communication and operation matters of island wide.
• Supervised the non-military task and coordinated with the civil authority.
• Coordinated the launching, training, Safety and security officer – Responsible for the contingency plan of the camp.
02. Signal Officer of 51 Division at Jaffna. (20th June 2009 to 12th Aug
2010)
• Provided and maintained the communication responsibility (Operational and administrative) of Headquarter, Four Brigades and fourteen Battalions.
03. Signal and Electronic Warfare Officer of 55 Division at Mirisuvil.

• Provided and maintained the communication responsibility of Headquarter, Four Brigades and Sixteen Battalions.
