Hired as a Front End Cashier, I was Responsible for ringing each customers items. These items could be from various departments such as automotive, home goods, clothes and groceries. It was very important to bag these items carefully. I then collected payments such as cash, checks, credit cards and debit cards. I then gave them their receipt and change if applicable. I had to keep my area clean at all times. During slow times I had to restock the shelves in my area/lane. This was important because this particular area is where customers add on to their purchases. This particular area is where a lot of customers do what is called, "Compulsive Buying! I am usually the last employee the customer has an interaction with so it is extremely important to give my customer the best Customer Service possible! Fitting Room Attendant/Cashier

Hired as a Fitting Room Attendant I greeted everyone that came in my area. I counted each and every article of clothing before taking them back to their particular room. Our Loss Prevention Manager informed me that the Fitting Room is where a lot of theft occurs. I had to be vigilant at all times and tried to make sure that no theft occurred on my shift. Once the customer is done, I take the items she doesn't want and then I count to make sure all items are accounted for. I then either hung up the clothes on a hanger or I told them neatly. Associates are called to the front of the store to Cashier when the check out lines have more than two customers waiting in line. This could happen numerous times throughout my shift. Failure to respond to the Manager On Duty would lead to being written up and would be on your Personnel Record!

Additional Information

• I have worked my entire adult life but as you will notice, I have been unable to work since December 24, 2021. This is due to a traumatic injury to my right leg, ankle and foot. I have had three, six hour surgeries to correct my injury. I want desperately to return back to the working world once again! I am more than ready to meet new people and offer myself and all my experiences to Customers once again.
