Department Supervisor

I applied for a supervisor position once moving from QA department in 2017. I have managed any where from 50 to 60 team members at a time. As of February this year I am currently the Quality Assurance supervisor as well I over see the Inbound departments which includes (Stocking, Receiving, Replenishments and QA). I make sure there is daily plan's as logistics is different everyday and I truly enjoy what I do.

Interview and train employees

Tour department throughout the day to make sure employees are compliant with everyday needs of the complany

Review and evaluate employees performance and provide leadership opportunities for professional opportunities Stocking - Assign task to department members and provide any needs of employees to perform there job functions daily Receiving - make sure freight is processed and being directed to the stocking department in a timely matter and in the right area

Receiving - receive and email vendors on freight and trucks that will be coming through on a daily

QA - control shrinkage ( making sure all freight is accounted for)

QA - new, used and damaged freight are being processed correctly

QA - perform audits daily as well as monthly for corporate Replenishments - direct employees to replenish inventory to shelves as accurate at possible

Safety Supervisor

Held monthly safety meetings with safety committee team members. Made sure these team members did weekly walk through in areas and provide information on any safety issues. Address these issues and fix if able to or bring to maintenance department to fix issue. Helped managers improve areas of operations by sharing feedback from employees on safety opportunities
