I am a very experienced content manager and copywriter. With a background in copywriting for London agencies and client organisations, I now manage, edit and write all types of communication – from digital marketing and brochures to content and documentation, handling everything from origination to website maintenance, migration and management.
I have won creative awards, led teams and pioneered new techniques to make communications more effective. This includes developing and managing TOV, UX and functional optimisation – and the ability to deliver cutting edge communications, both to internal and external audiences. HSBC March 2021 Current
I have been called in to provide UX and content for a major initiative – an international banking app. This has required liaison with business stakeholders and working in an Agile team with developers around the world, providing content for international audiences, optimising UX and providing solutions to align conflicting needs.
Rangewell March 2018 January 2021
Rangewell is a fintech startup in the B2B space. As Content Editor/Manager I planned and wrote all types of content to generate response, achieving a steady stream of new business, as well as internal communications.
Continuum January 2015 - 2021
Continuum is a nationwide IFA service. I create content relating to investment, pensions, savings and all other aspects of personal finance – driving awareness and creating response to support the development of the network – which is currently going nationwide.

South Bedfordshire June 2015 – August 2016
I was called in to produce content for a major web project for this local authority, working directly with stakeholders. This was a major content upgrade and migration, using a variety of online tools.
WDFC September 2013 -August 2015
Working as the Editorial Manager/Copywriter in this international financial dot.com business, I was responsible for all copy and content from web and mobile sites to press advertising. I set up the copy team, worked with the FCA to achieve compliance and was responsible for international copy approval, providing brand guidance for teams in Germany, Spain and Poland, South Africa and India. I pioneered content across the several brands of the business, writing and commissioning a wide variety of work.

Barclays Bank August 2012 – June 2013
I successfully launched new products in the online and mobile sectors; the innovative Pingit app and the Barclays Business insurance product. This involved liaison with third party partners – Allianz - and developing copy solutions that met diverging needs. The creation and maintenance of web content, and the validation of content against UX testing we key to the role.
TalkTalk June 2012 – August 2012
I created web content for telecoms company TalkTalk for the launch of their TV service, and was responsible for uploading and troubleshooting.
F&C November 2011- Feb 2012
I produced a major integrated campaign, involving EDM, DM, press advertising and web content for the F&C ISA programme, pioneering the effective use of e-marketing for the client.

I developed and wrote a range of support material to launch and update a number of wealth management products, all of which contributed to the development of the business.

I worked to relaunch the Dual Currency Placement product. This involved using EDM, DM and web – to explain a highly technical proposition. I achieved and exceeded market targets.

I was responsible for copy to support the international rebranding and reorganisation of the banking group, based around the acquisition of ABN AMRO. This involved developing brand guidelines, TOV and content – and effectively launching an international bank in six months.

As a contractor I was responsible for all writing within this small specialist agency, dealing directly with clients and providing a range of marketing initiatives.

Alliance & Leicester January 2003 - May 2004
Alliance & Leicester identified a problem with their marketing communications, which were no longer addressing their key audience of C1 and C2 customers. I was called in to provide a solution. This involved liaison with product teams, compliance officers and board, and developing new brand guidelines and TOV, and implementing them across print and web.
Citibank February – December 2002
In 2002 Citibank made the decision to expand and refresh the investment pages of their site. I was called in to research and write this major section, delivering increased uptake.
