Fiesta Development Company, Inc. closed due to the housing market crash of 2008. I started Recreational Land Investments, Inc. and Ashby Construction Company, Inc. with one of the owners, Richard K. Ashby (CSLB #28771). Limited scope of work over the past twenty-eight years; all duties have not been listed:
Company Creation: Formation of any format of a company, applications with government offices, company document creator from bylaws to operation agreements, administrator of compliance of entity.
Acquisition: Company’s creator and liaison with escrow offices with all details of purchase or sale of single or multiple parcels of land and lending escrows. Largest Escrow managed $35,000,000.00.
Financial Lending: Company’s creator and liaison with banks, private lenders with all details of the application process to funding, loan document auditor, deed administrator, and final funding.
Project Manager: Formation of the new project in QuickBooks, and start-up budgets, bid administrator, contract author, preliminary title monitoring, scheduling, permit/insurance administer, and maintaining city/county compliances. Gather relevant information on the entire project.
Accounting: A/P processing from invoice and release verification with the contract, confirm invoice amount with contract scope/amount, issuing payments, allocating cash/credit card expenses, administer financial draws from the lenders and monitor budget. Allocate all expenses to administer the actual project cost to result in profit or loss of the entire project. Worked with ADP on certain projects.
Compliance: Liaison with outside auditors, insurance protocols, government/state licenses, permit ramifications of the project(s), and maintain compliance with company regulations and project administration.
Month End: Bank, credit card, and petty cash reconciliation, journal entry author and administer, quarterly reports, creator of financial statements, cash flows, administer sick/vacation reports of employees, and allocate any expense through overhead to miscellaneous expenses under the umbrella to accumulate precise expenditures.

Executor: Bankruptcy author and monitor of Fiesta Development Company, Inc.’s Chapter 11 and compliance executor for years after, and executor of Lawrence E. Redman’s Chapter 13 reorganization during yearly compliance regulations.
