SECTION 3 - RITUAL PROCESS
Following the activity manual of Manjushri:
The BHRUM activity ritual is begun when the Ratnaketu drawing is finished and installed on the full moon.
1. Foundation - One offers the Agarwood incense at morning, evening and night and makes one million repetitions of BHRUM. One offers oblations of water into water (drinking and refilling the altar water) every morning without fail.
Empowerment Rituals
2. Wheel - One performs one million reputations of BHRUM and holds up offerings to painting until the wheel blazes.
3. Parasol - One imagines the parasol over ones head, performs one million reputations of BHRUM and holds up offerings to painting until the Parasol blazes, repeating again on full moons. 4. Usnisa - one recites one million BHRUM, and when the arrow blazes with light, he grabs a hold of it to go where he pleases to teach dharma.
5. Pot - the full bowl is covered with white cloth and BHRUM recited one million times, then holds the pot.
6. Jewel - one performs ten millions repetitions of BHRUM, then grabs the mirror to levitate and obtain the body of a god.
7. Vajra - One wipes the metal one point vajra with butter, milk, ghee, curds and whey, then on the full moon he rinses it with scented water and makes offerings and lights candles. 8. Sword - one takes the green crystal sword and recites BHRUM until it blazes with light. 9. Red Arsenic - one fasts for three nights, then arrays the spent tea lights and recites BHRUM over the red arsenic until it release heat, smoke, and fire. At each stage, one applies a bindi to his forehead.
10. Trident - after performing the BHRUM ritual for a year and completing the empowerments, one holds a large offering. Holding the trident in his right hand, he recites BHRUM until the trident releases rays of light and the gods arrive headed by Maheshvara.

Enthralling Rituals
During this time, one makes daily offerings of Ghee, Sesame Oil, Brown Mustard Seeds, White Rice, and Salt to the painting. One makes an sap-rich offering fire and summons the god of fire with: āgaccha hari piṅgala dīpta jihva lohitākṣa hari piṅgala dehi dadāpaya svāhā. He then summons Manjushri with: āgaccha āgaccha kumāra bhūta / sarva sattvārtham udyato 'ham / sāhāyyaṃ me kalpaya gandha puṣpa dhūpaṃ ca prati gṛhṇa svāhā, and makes the following series of offerings over 16 weeks:
11. 21 days of offerings of Agarwood incense smeared with Honey, curds and ghee while reciting BHRUM 1,008 times at each offering time.
12. 7 days of offerings of lotus seeds at the 3 times of the day while reciting BHRUM 1,008 times at each offering time.
13. 7 days of offerings of sesame seeds while reciting BHRUM 1,008 times at each offering time. 14. 7 days of offerings of barley grains while reciting BHRUM 1,008 times at each offering time. 15. 7 days of offerings of fenugreek seeds while reciting BHRUM 1,008 times at each offering time. 16. 7 days of offerings of fenugreek seeds mixed with Shami fruit while reciting BHRUM 1,008 times at each offering time.
17. 7 days of offerings of Shami leaves while reciting BHRUM 1,008 times at each offering time. 18. 7 days of offerings of Asoka flowers while reciting BHRUM 1,008 times at each offering time. 19. 7 days of offerings of cobra’s saffron flowers while reciting BHRUM 1,008 times at each offering time.
20. 7 days of offerings of Agarwood incense smeared with olibanum oil while reciting BHRUM 1,008 times at each offering time.
21. 7 days of offerings of bdellium smeared with Honey, curds and ghee while reciting BHRUM 1,008 times at each offering time.
22. 7 days of offerings of frankincense smeared with Honey, curds and ghee while recitingBHRUM 1,008 times at each offering time.
Rituals of the 14 Yaksinis
These are individually prescribed activities lasting between 14 days to eight months or more, depending upon the success in the signs. The Yaksini ritual process will likely take approximately three years, but if all goes will they can be accomplished 7 months total. After these rituals, there is no further activity needed in the mandala.
