Resident: As a resident in maxillofacial prosthetics, I treated patients who had acquired and congenital defects of the head and neck (maxillofacial) region secondary to cancer, surgery, trauma, and/or birth defects. I fabricated the following types of prostheses: Maxillary obturators; Speech-aid prosthesis (formerly called as Pharyngeal/Soft Palate Obturators); Mandibular-Resection prostheses.
