Job Summary: Maintenance Technician responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
Production Maintenance Technician combines maintenance and production duties to enhance production output, equipment reliability and performance and total line efficiency by optimizing all resources under his guidance and responsibility utilizing approved Operations Procedures and Maintenance programs and methodology.
1.Conduct machine setup, settings and changeover of the packaging machineries.
2.Conduct proactive monitoring of the machineries by doing everyday routine inspection and evaluation of machine performance.
3.Prepare real time and detailed report of machine breakdown, adjustments, and changeover.
4.Evaluate machine performance and weak points and recommend any opportunity for improvement to increase efficiency and productivity.
5.To conduct and effectively perform preventive and corrective maintenance of the machineries.
6.Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
7.Promptly report any machinery issue that may lead to quality abnormality.
8.To participate in commissioning of newly arrive machines.
9.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
10.Implement all approved procedures and forms as per company manual in Production and Maintenance as related to all tasks of filling and packing, safety, QA policy, materials and finished goods transfer for packaging lines assigned under his responsibility to ensure that all machines in the line are effectively running and supplied with adequate final process product in terms of output, quality, cleanliness and sanitation at all times.
