To Whom It May Concern,
It is with regret that I write this letter of recommendation for Michael Gagliano. Due to extreme budget reductions, Mr. Gagliano's position in our district will be eliminated on July 1, 2009. Over the last fourteen years, Mr. Gagliano has very capably held the position in charge of maintenance and supervision of our custodial staff in our Buildings & Grounds Department. As the Director of Human Resources and as a building principal I have had many opportunities to work with him as he carried out his duties. Mr. Gagliano has been responsible for the supervision of all forty custodians as well as substitute custodians who work in our district. He conducted all interviews and provided all new employee orientation and training. Mr. Gagliano has been responsible for supervising the maintenance work in eight district buildings and for establishing cleaning schedules and procedures, conducting formalized and regular inspections.
In addition, Mr. Gagliano participates in collective bargaining. He actively present the issues of the district and works toward reaching a settlement agreement with the employees. The working relationship between the employees and management is extremely positive as a result of Mr. Gagliano's consistent clear feedback to employees as well as his fair approach to dealing with individual employee issues. Mr. Gagliano is extremely dedicated and responsible. He works whatever hours are necessary to ensure the custodial work of the district is of the utmost quality. Frequently, visitors to our facilities comment on how incredibly clean and well maintained they are. Prior to Mr. Gagliano taking on his role, the exact opposite was the case. In conclusion, Mr. Gagliano possesses the attribute of integrity that you will definitely find of great benefit to your organization. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly if you would like to discuss his work accomplishments in our district in greater detail. Sincerely,
Judy Mueller PhD

To Whom It May Concern:
It is with pleasure that I offer a recommendation for Mike Gagliano. I have worked with Mike since 1995 when he was hired as a supervisor in the Franklin Public Schools Buildings and Grounds department. Upon his arrival, Mike set out to create a first class training program as well as a stringent set of standards for judging performance. The proof of his accomplishments are our extremely well cared for buildings. Not only do the staff appreciate this fact, but visitors often remark about the cleanliness of our buildings. After a facility inspection by the loss control experts for our insurance company, they took the time to send an e-mail saying that they were most impressed with the condition of the facilities and complementing the facility managers. On another occasion, during an educational visit, the State Superintendent of Schools remarked that she has been in more school buildings than most people, and that our buildings were strikingly clean and well cared for compared to other school districts. Even after the loss of some custodial hours due to budget reductions, Mike found ways for the custodians to keep the buildings looking great. Mike has high standards, is very straightforward, great with details, and he works very hard. Franklin Public Schools would love to keep Mike Gagliano working in his current position, unfortunately due to budget cuts, his position has been eliminated. I would strongly recommend Mike Gagliano for any position that calls for a self-motivated, detail oriented, high achiever. Please take the opportunity to interview Mike.
Sincerely,
Jim Milzer, Director of Business Services
Recommendation Letter #3:
Mark E. Cloutier
Manager of Buildings and Grounds
To Whom it May Concern:
I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Mike Gagliano. Mike has reported to me since hired on September 1, 1995 as Supervisor in the Buildings and Grounds Department. During that time he has developed and implemented many improvements to this department while maintaining close supervision of a staff of forty plus union employees. Either individually or collaboratively Mike has worked hard to establish a thorough hiring process, an excellent training program, a rigorous inspection program, and a supply ordering system that ensures smooth department operations. He is always available either by phone or e-mail even when sick or on a vacation. He is a driven individual setting high standards for his own performance and the performance of those reporting to him. On those occasions when he has needed to discipline an employee his documentation has been excellent. Mike’s performance has been outstanding and I would rehire him without hesitation. Unfortunately for us, budget cuts have caused the elimination of his position. I truly believe his hard work and experience will be an asset to any organization. Please feel free to contact me at 414-***-**** if you have any questions or I can help in any way. Sincerely,
Mark E. Cloutier

I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Mike Gagliano. I have worked with Mike Gagliano the past 10 years in a number of business and training disciplines, and regard Mike as one of the dedicated, detail oriented, and employee training focused Managers I have been involved with through my 32 years with 3M. He consistently upgraded the training curriculum of the employees at Franklin Public Schools and developed formalized programs integrating his suppliers in the process. He built consensus among the employees to “do it right” the first time by also involving them in programs and empowering them to focus on continual improvement agendas. His focus on training, organization and commitment would be a very positive asset to any organization looking for someone of his position and he comes with my highest recommendation. Please feel free to contact me if you require and additional information. Sincerely,

RE: Michael Gagliano ~ Letter of Recommendation
To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to recommend Michael Gagliano for a position with your organization. I have personally known and worked along side Michael since October of 1999 at the Franklin Public School District. During the course of the years Michael continually encouraged the department to achieve our motto of “Pursuing Excellence.” This standard has not only been achieved, it has been exceeded and recognized by outside vendors, staff and community members. During a recent district in-service, a vendor stated that Franklin Public Schools is always used as an example to other school districts in our surrounding area. This is thanks to Michael’s hard work.
Some of the staff in the district have said this of Michael: he has a strong commitment to his family and job; he is dedicated and is available 24-7 to anyone; he is a loyal co-worker, boss and friend; a strong motivator; he is fair and equal to all employees; extremely humble, always stating that his successes are based on those who work for and with him; and a leader and teacher not only by words, but by example. Both in my professional and personal opinion, Michael posses many fine qualities that would make him an asset to any company. He has experience, dedication, outstanding ethics/values/morals, respect for and by his peers, and a passion to continue learning. He is a unique individual who will admit when he is wrong, stands up for what he believes in, and shows the utmost respect for those who work for, with and around him. Those of us that have had the great opportunity to work with him during his tenure at Franklin Public Schools will miss him greatly.
Please feel free to contact me at any time for further information. I can be reached at the above address or my home number is 414-***-****.

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter on behalf of Michael Gagliano. I have known Mike professionally and personally for over 20 years through our supplier/customer relationship.
Throughout these past years, I have watched Mike develop into an exceptional manager. What differentiates Mike from others is his attention to detail and his ability to get projects done right the first time. These attributes, combined with his peerless integrity, insure that he achieves excellent cooperation while working with others. He is a great team player. My position at Nassco affords me the opportunity to review a substantial number of school districts throughout the state of Wisconsin. While doing so, I use Franklin School District as the benchmark on how I feel a district should be maintained. This benchmark has been achieved through implementation of training and maintenance programs Mike has pioneered.
Without question, I would recommend Mike Gagliano to any organization. He is a quality individual who would quickly make a positive and lasting impact.

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter of recommendation for Mr. Gagliano. I have had the opportunity to work with Mr. Gagliano for the past ten years. His professional growth is a direct result of his many years in management and supervisory positions. As the Supervisor of Buildings & Grounds at Franklin Public Schools for the past fourteen years, he has accomplished a great deal. In my twenty plus years in field sales in this industry, I have not seen a cleaner school district, and I’ve seen many.
Mr. Gagliano is a driven and dedicated individual who is steadfast in his commitment to doing things ‘the right way.’ His work ethic and organizational skills are second to none. I have no doubt that Mr. Gagliano would be an asset to any organization and I give him my highest recommendation. Please feel free to contact me at the number above should you require any additional information. Sincerely,
Steve A. Schmidbauer
