Appraisal Coordinator

Communicating with clients, appraisers, and other stakeholders throughout the appraisal process to ensure that everyone is aware of key milestones and deadlines

Recording the results of appraisals in an organized manner to maintain an archive of past appraisals

Processing loan applications by collecting and reviewing documentation such as pay stubs, bank statements, and tax returns

Reviewing appraiser qualifications, experience, and track record for each assignment

Performing research on property values for a specific geographic area or neighborhood to determine an appropriate price range for an appraisal

Reviewing appraiser reports for accuracy and completeness before they are finalized and submitted to lenders or clients

Coordinating the appraisal process by scheduling appraisers to visit properties, coordinating with clients regarding inspection requirements, and scheduling inspections with local authorities

Preparing a written report of an appraisal based on findings and conclusions drawn from the appraiser’s analysis of data

Reviewing appraiser reports and adjusting as needed to ensure that appraisals are accurate, complete, and legally defensible

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Monitor and handle the entire process of appraisal

orders daily from order entry to delivery. This

includes handling inbound and outbound calls

from Clients, Processors, Underwriters, Appraisers,

and property owners. It also includes

troubleshooting problematic scenarios

Track and communicate issues and status updates

to requester in a calm and professional manner

both verbally and in writing

Contact Appraisers and Clients for status updates

while maintaining a detailed communication record

on the Appraisal Management System (eTrac and

ValueLink) to ensure data is accurate and up to

date

Communicate to Clients and Appraisers a general

understanding of appraisal related products as

dictated by company policy/procedure and

applicable law

Act on each file with a superior level of execution

Handle client concerns to achieve client's

expectations

Interact with other AAA AMC departments, as well

as recognize when files should be escalated
