MAIN RESPONSAIBILITIES / MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Prepare proposals, negotiate, and close deals with long-term clients from the company's portfolio.
• Follow up operations and meetings on behalf of clients according to the clients’ requirements
• Coordinator for the sale, rental, spare parts, and service of heavy machinery.
• Inspections of industrial category machines and lifting equipment. CATERPILLAR MEXICO - Supplier Quality Intern (2017 - 2019) Caterpillar Inc. is the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, off-highway diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives. MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
To ensure and certify that purchased products meet established quality levels through quality control methods and tools.
To aid with cost reduction of non-conforming material and recovering COPQ. To support the production line and work closely with the Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure all requirements are properly documented and suppliers are meeting requirements. Coordinate external personnel to perform rework and maintain desired quality while meeting the four objectives of Safety, Quality, Speed and Cost.
MAIN ACTIVITITIES:
• To dispose of non-conforming material by the internal quality and production line.
• To notify the supplier and request corrective actions and action plans.
• To elaborate and follow up on specific indicators: Overdue notices, rework slips, scrap recovery.
• To generate rework slips for subcontract material to improve the quality of the components.
• To develop a weekly follow-up of Scrap-Recovery of non-conforming material while interacting with national and foreign suppliers as well as internal departments.
• To maintain an effective relationship and communication with national and foreign suppliers. FOLSOM EQUIPMENT – Commercial advisor (2016- 2017) Planning client development, creating opportunities (Proactive), identifying opportunities, qualifying and developing opportunities, preparing proposals, negotiating and closing deals, following up on contracts, visiting and communicating with clients, teamwork, and conducting development programs. FOLSOM EQUIPMENT – Sales assistant (2015 - 2016)
Aid customer requirements and counter personnel for the sale and rental of spare parts and the service of heavy machinery.
Monthly visits to customers.
Inspections of industrial-level machinery and lifting equipment. FOLSOM EQUIPMENT- Management (January 2015 – June 2015) A company dedicated to the commercialization of heavy machinery, handling international brands such as Caterpillar, Genie, and Jlg, among others.
