To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter due to an interest in your organization. I have worked as an adult/family/women’s nurse practitioner for most of my career. At this junction in my career I am looking for a position that meets my career and personal expectations. I understand through experience the ongoing dilemma of cost containment and quality of care issues. My values and job description must be aligned to succeed in today’s health care environment. The basis for rationales, actions and choices are formed from experiences and education.

I understand that peak performances are obtained when the values of the organization, the profession and person are aligned. I value education of myself and others as a precursor to quality health. As a nurse practitioner I understand why I chose this profession and the values for which it represents. I value people as individuals with specific needs based on their financial, health, cultural, and religious states.

Both nursing as an art and science are necessary for excellence in the nursing mission. There is a finely balanced movement between art and science that goes beyond the traditional meaning of nursing.

Thank You for Consideration,

Ann Marie Peck DNP FNP-C
