I was a part of a two man crew and we contact customer according to work schedule to let them know when we would be arriving once we had arrived we would introduce ourselves and look at what the job would entail then protect your floors and their hearth as the start of the setup then one guy would get on the roof and run brushes down and then the other man would open the door so the chimney Could vent once cleared chimney was inspected and then when given the okay the stove would be cleaned process took about 20 minutes usually if the stove didn't need repairs and then we would pick up are tarps and cardboard and collect payment then move on to the next Warehouse manager

Custom hearth - Port Orchard, WA

October 2004 to February 2016

• As warehouse manager I would order supplies through our suppliers receive shipments from our suppliers receive our shipments in to make sure orders where complete then put into our stock also I would convert gas fireplaces from natural gas to propane and tests to make sure there's no leaks and no other problems with the appliance if so then I would take the time to fix it before it went out to the customers home and according to supply list I would assemble the whole job including parts, such as braces support and pipe on a pallet so installers could load up in the mornings and head out to the job site I also would check customer files to make sure anything that could have been missed so installers did not have to make another trip back to the shop to get something that was supposed to be on the order that wasn't also at the end of the year I would do inventory from all our suppliers what's generally took about a week because of overhead and how much stock we had for the end of the year taxes loading fuel from walking customers that came to buy fuel for their pellet stove or their wood stoves we sold pellets and logs I was also responsible for overseeing the work of my helper and making sure his job was being done correctly too if not, I would give them advice on how to be more efficient and I would give advice to walk-ins that were do it yourself if they had a question I would go and explain how installs needed to be as far as installing their pipe in their home and what supplies they would need to do so according to local building codes codes Laborer
