As the store manager, I set the example of customer service as an experience for the customer. I oversee all aspects of the business such as hiring, training, payroll budget and scheduling of as few as 25 and up to as many as 108 associates. I created and set in place recovery/replenishment and shipping/receiving standards as well as inventory control. Over the course of 9 years, I have improved the story inventory results, annual sales, as well as improved all Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). This has been done through strong leadership and good talent acquired over the years.
2005-2009 Levis Dockers Outlet By Most, Vacaville, CA

I began this journey with Anchor Blue Retail Group in 2005 as the store manager. Levi Strauss & Co. bought the Levis Outlets from ABRG in 2009 after they filed Chapter 11. This is where I laid the foundation to this long term position. I was one of the top stores in the district and was put in charge of many tasks. I gathered payroll each week from my peers and prepared it for my District Sales Manager. I helped close stores as well as opened new ones by being the point person and in charge of hiring and staffing new stores. I held job fairs to aid my search, I was successful in filing all positions and most of them still hold their positions with Levi Strauss & Co.
2003-2005 TJ Maxx, Fairfield, CA
Operations Manager
AS the operations manager it was my job to oversee all functions of the store, from cashiers to receiving shipment and processing of the goods. I also oversaw opening and closing the store, hiring/training new people; handling customer service issues if any came up. We had a fantastic jewelry department that I was in charge of all training, merchandising, and security, scheduling was also my responsibility I scheduled for as few as 30 associates and as many as 90 associates depending on season.
2001-2003 Toys “R” Us / Kids “R” Us, San Rafael, CA
Operations Manager
As the operations manager it was my responsibility to oversee the following: Cashiers, Guest Service, Hiring and setting the new hires up with a training buddy. I did the scheduling for up to 115 associates depending on season and budgeted payroll. I over saw all front end functions such as register balancing, change ordering, verifying all deposit preparation for armored car pick up. Over all my responsibility was to ensure that every guest who entered the building left with a smile on their face no matter whether they were big or small. I also worked for the Kids “R” Us division (which is their kids clothing line) as a combo manager. In addition to my responsibilities I had with Toys “R” Us when with KRU also over saw all seasonal floor changes with apparel as well as displaying the hot new product as it arrived.
1999-2001 Waldenbooks, Napa, CA
Store Manager
I took over this fast paced book store as the store manager in the middle of a busy holiday season. It was my responsibility to repair the store and get it back to being a top book store in the area. This store had not had a manager for quite some time prior to my arrival and it needed some direction and I was able to provide that. I hired & trained an entire new staff, brought the store into the top 10 in preferred reader card sales, built a regular customer base by providing valued customer service. I was in charge of all inventory, shipping & receiving, payroll budgets and scheduling. I also traveled for the company and helped other stores when in need.
