Experienced Mechanical Reliability Engineering Supervisor with over 18 years’ experience working in Mining, Oil, Gas, Construction, Petrochemical industry sector. Worked as Supervisor for Petro- SA (Mossgas) and Acting Senior Supervisor for South Seas Driller on all projects on the FA-Platform by handling all the maintenance on tube bundles, piping, panting, welding, chemical cleaning, and HP-cleaning. He worked for Sasol as well where he received his trade as Boilermaker, thereafter he worked for Fluor Daniels on Sasol’s new Turbo Project as a Boilermaker, Pipe Fitter and Welding Inspector.

I am responsible for all the mechanical scope on site and underground works.
Daily dairies, CMMS, Reliability, Inspections, Quality control, QCP's on contractors and the suppliers.
Maintenance control within my area and other departments affected by our department together with the Planning department on the integrated systems.
Budget oversight alongside with planning, procurement, warehouse, financial and management departments.
Safety and training on employees within the department.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Meetings with schedulers, planners, contractors and other service providers for readiness, shortcomings, and feedback to the Directors and into the live systems.
Monitoring and keeping track by doing site walks and interaction between the maintenance departments, safety departments, contractors, and all other service providers.

All high-pressure piping, vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, cooling towers, storage vessels, agitation equipment fall under our SOW.
PSV’s, PRV’s, flow valves, density meters, control valves, actuators pneumatic and hydraulic fall under our maintenance and SOW.
Hot tapping, insulation, painting, condition monitoring, RBI, RBM, inspection and third-party inspection arranged by our department and SOW.
Working closely with production, workshops, contractors, project team and all key stakeholders on Lock-out Tag-out, Safe work procedures, risk assessments, rescue plans, emergency response and scenario’s that could happen, so we can identify and manage the risks or eliminate them.
Keeping a close eye on the budgets, spares, overtime, consumables, PPE and making sure that contractual agreements are met by both parties.
Monthly meetings with procurement, planning, management, operations, safety, head office and our maintenance teams for all issues that comes up for streamlining and promoting team support from the ground up to the top.
