SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
I worked as a Registered Nurse at Alliance Health Center from June 2013 to January 2018, primarily on the male adolescent unit for the first 3 years, then later, I changed to PRN and worked on all floors from adolescents, adults, acute care, detox, and geriatric. I later began working at Rush hospital on the surgical floor as an RN from January 2015 to January 2016, up until the unit closed. I worked fulltime as a Registered Nursing Supervisor over the acute adult female unit at East Mississippi State Hospital from 2016-2017. During this time I decided to explore nursing even more and took a travel nursing assignment, where I worked in Nashville, TN at the Mental Health Correctional facility for 15 weeks, contracted. My APRN specialty is Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and I am prepared for both acute and primary care. I have been working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner since January 2019 – Current. We treat all patients at different ages from 3 y.o. – late elderly ages or geriatrics, broad spectrum of diagnosis and utilize telemedicine to treat patients. We also assist in court commitments of patients. I’m currently seeking a full-time or part-time position and I look forward to other opportunities that may arise.
