At Home Piano Teacher
Teaching children and adults the basic methods of piano technique, reading music, memory, finger skills, and standard scales and arpeggios. Knowledge of various piano methods and selecting appropriate music for the student’s skill level.

Former Substitute, Mesa Public Schools and Phoenix Area Charter Schools.
Teaching students to sing and play simple classroom instruments, drums, recorder, percussion, bells, etc. Teaching students to read music. Making use of State curriculum to provide a positive musical experience.
Duties also include occasionally taking over from band and orchestra directors, and providing individual lessons. Requires a basic knowledge of string and band instruments as well as conducting skills.
Diverse general knowledge of other subjects as needed, such as English, ESL, and Art.

Bachelor’s Degree in Music and Piano, California State University, Los Angeles.
Student of Winifred Chastek, Julliard.
Special training in Suzuki Music from Stanford University Suzuki Workshops.
Arizona Lifetime Substitute Teaching Credential.
