Work Experience

Data Engineer at VLDB Solutions: Feb 2022 – Aug 2022 I worked on a ETL project that automated the process of data migration, moving one data schema to a different data warehouse, using an airflow scheduler that ran Python scripts. I wrote a Python script that could run database queries and compare table information from each database’s information schema to checksum the migration. I took AWS certification courses while on the job. I gained an understanding of the many types of AWS that there are, and I also built an EC2 instance using Terraform, an infrastructure as code tool.

I occasionally worked as a data consultant for companies who hired us, were I supported the client-side team with my coding skills by breaking down SDKs and providing necessary quick fixes to the code.

Apprentice Horticulturist at Sanctuary Housing: Sep 2022 – Now I am currently an apprentice working at Sanctuary Housing, where I maintain the lawns, shrubs, and trees using a variety of different powered and non-powered tools.
