Possess ability to read blueprints, drawings and specifications.
CPR, First Aid and OSHA Safety Certified.
Inventory management and tracking experience.
Computer use – Microsoft Office systems including Word, Excel, Outlook
Basic Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) experience
Manual J and D certified
TASKS
Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.
Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution.
Join pipes or tubing to equipment and to fuel, water, or refrigerant source, to form complete circuit.
Reassemble and test equipment following repairs.
Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
Lay out and connect electrical wiring between controls and equipment, according to wiring diagrams, using electrician's hand tools.
Obtain and maintain required certifications.
Install, connect, and adjust thermostats, humidistats and timers, using hand tools.
Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions.
SKILLS
Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or program to meet specifications.
Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it
Repair machines or systems using the needed tools
Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed
Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working
Conducting tests and inspections of products, services or processes to evaluate quality or performance
Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate
