Experience : Tennessee Valley Healthcare System 11/2017- Present I have worked all three shifts at CLC-East to provide care for patients,from long term care to rehab patients.I have preformed in and out catheters,bladder scans,intake and output. Also assit with changing catheters and wound care treatment.Other duties include but are not limited to vital signs,urine test and oxygen care with tubing and tanks. I also worked the float pool where I worked any unit at the hospital as needed. I enjoyed the challenge and different types of care of each unit. Tennessee State Veterans Home 8/2016-11/2017 I provide care in a variety of ways to my patients,mostly from the geriatric community /disabled veterans.During this employment my duties include but are not limited to :Assisting with bathing,dressing and all aspects of patients personal care.Obtaining patients blood pressure,passing trays and helping feed patients who could not feed themselves.Accurate documentation of I&O,ensuring those that are under my care are clean and neatly dressed with proper perineal care.Also nail care for patients that are non-diabetics,assit licensed nurses to carefor residentsin accordance with their care plan. Care All Home Health 8/2015-8/2016 I provided residential based support to patients over a six county radius.Duties include but are not limited to: Assiting with bathing,dressing and all aspects of personal care,obtaining vital signs along with knowledge of patients safe vital sign sign range and reportable parameters,assiting with minor household chores and meal preparation.
