Skills

I have many years of experience in sales, business management, and business ownership. I have worked from the ground up or started as a manager from the start. I am currently the coordinator of the home department at TJMaxx in Baxter and act as MOD most days I work as well as closing manager on many of my shifts, I have recently learned the cash office duties to help when needed. I have managed a frozen yogurt shop, a convenience store, a liquor store, a party outfitter/store, a thrift store, and was an equipment manager/dispatcher for a trucking company. I have been in accounts receivable and lead in the shoe department at JCPenneys. I have been a sub-substitute teacher and PCA for the Brainerd School district and PCA to a private family. I also worked on the merchandising team for The Home Depot where my main job was in price changing and cross-checking prices and inventory counts. I owned and operated a children's consignment store for over 8 years.

I have a very diverse background as I am always willing to learn new things and enjoy the challenges of what I do. I have a great positive attitude, I am a fast learner, and work well with others as well as on my own. I am a good leader, I am goal-oriented, and know the importance of the bottom line and how productivity can affect those numbers. I am trustworthy, honest, dependable, and a self-starter. If I see something that needs to be done, I try to make it happen, either by doing the task myself or by delegating it to someone more fitting or teaching someone how to do it. I have reliable transportation and can work any time needed. Weekends are fine and overtime is never a problem. Enclosed is an abbreviated job history. I will be happy to answer any and all questions you might have.

I am excited to start a new adventure in my life, maybe that new start will be with you! Thank you for your time and consideration,
