Ebola-Epidemic Outbreak – Emergency Response Coordination Accomplishments Ebola response: December 2014 2017
Leadership provided and ensured that the Infection Prevention and Control Training Instructors received the required material; Support such as training space set up and logistical distribution is consistent with World Health Organisation Standards; Oversight on registration process provided and ensured that all clinical waste are collected and disposed of on a daily basis; Evaluation feedback related to food quality summarised and responded to accordingly, facility managed and logistics and procurement informed on daily stock level; Equipment and training supplies received and signed for on monthly basis.
Cross Border Function
Served as Cross Border Lead for ForeKambia Cross Border Committee (Sierra Leone and Guinea).
Ensured International Health Regulation (IHR) and best practices are maintained at Point of Entry (PoE) at the Gballamuya official Crossing Point in Kambia District.
Ensured that information (i.e. alerts, investigation reports, laboratory results, individual-level datasets, contact lists, teams' contact information, etc.) are shared and actioned on a daily basis.
Provided capacity support to Port health Officers on key IHR core-capacities like: surveillance, preparedness, human resource, risk communication, laboratory, and zoonotic events.
Provided support for the coordination of the cross-border Ebola, Cholera, and other priority diseases between Kambia district, Sierra Leone and Forécariah prefecture, Guinea

Provided technical expertise in effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of supplemental immunization activities (SIAs) especially Polio SIA using nOPV2 to improve quality.
