I am Lois Salter, a registered nurse with 50 years nursing experience. Working as charge ward nurse for several years, lastly participating in the diabetic program as the diabetic nurse assistant. In 2007 I was the facilitator for the LSSU clinical programs at the HNJH for RN and LPN students as well. After, I facilitated the LPN program that provided classes for LPN students in correlation with Lake Superior University. The curriculum was delivered here with the exception of the OBGYN class,. I taught the clinical and theory for the LPN class that mirrored the classes provided said class taught at the university. I have been retired for the past few years, the desire for nursing is still in my heart. I was ACLS certified for years, and have not retained that certification. I continue with BLS training.
