Target Team Member/cashier

Target Fallbrook - Woodland Hills, CA

December 2021 to June 2022

As a Target Front Store Associate, I would help and assist all different types of customers. Working at Target gave me the skills to handle a variety of problems that customers faced while maintaining the cash register in a fast paced service with a smile and positive attitude. I started to work during December and all of the holiday shopping made for an intense and fast work pace. Some of these customers would be in a rush, others liked to talk about their days and holiday plans, and working cashier means balancing your time and energy appropriately to help customers with bagging or questions about the store, all at the same time. While cashier was my primary purpose, I could help with Guest services and Drive up. Guest services taught me how to deal with complex situations and refunding money. Drive up required me to bring different groceries to peoples cars in a timely manner that required a great deal of teamwork and future preparation. The reason behind quitting Target was because of the little hours given and the better work opportunity at the Snack Shack.
