Fatima Memrial Hospital (FMH) Lahore is one of leading tertiary care centre teaching hospital (550 beds) affliated with University of Lahore, Pakistan, recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, British medical council.

All disciplines like Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Rheumotology, Haematology, Neurology, ICU, CCU, Paediatric Medicine, Paediatric Surgery, General Surgery, Orthopedic surgery and Uorology are well established. Patients are managed indoor, outdoor and in emergency.

Gynaecology & Obstetrics department is famous for its mangement and refrall from other cities and hospitals. FMH is famous for maintaing records for antenatal care with regular and systemic approach of all patient care and managment.

FMH Gynaecological department is 100 beds department with 4 units.

A set guidline is established for all patients both for regular and emergency patients.

My unit was 30 beds with 20 trainee regestrar, 2 senior registra 1 assistan professor, 01 associate professor and 01 professro.

My Training as trainee Registrar.

During training I did outpatient, Inpatient and Emergency Gynaecological & obstetrics duties approximatly 72 Hrs in a week.

In Last six months of my training I worked as team leader of my team consistent of 6 trainee registrar

Outpatients.

I did 2 outpatients duties in a week.

Obstetrics Outpatient:

I managed out patients for obstetrical cases for booked patients as a routine follow up and new booking with normal condition and having underline diseases. Underline diseases like High blood pressure and DM.

Infertility clinics. For diagnosis of causes and management of infertility.

Gynaecological Outpatient:

Medical conditions of gyanecological like pelvic inflammatory diseases, dysfunctions uterine bleeding.

Inpatient Patient management:

I had on average 36Hrs duties with my 4-6 fellow residents, 2 registrar, 01 senior registrar in house duties and 01 consultant (assistant or associate professor)

Obstetrics Inpatient:

Inpatients obstetrics cases for monitoring of patients with high blood pressure, Diabetes Mellitus and other medical conditions.

Gynacological Inpatient:

For preoperative and postoperative care of Different gynecological conditions like endometrial cancers, endometrial polyp, patients posted for hysterectomies, ovarian tumors

Medical conditions of gynecological like pelvic inflammatory diseases, dysfunctions uterine bleeding

Emergency room cases:

Obstetrics patient:

Patients coming with labor pain, Decreased fetal movements, vaginal bleeding, High blood pressure. Uncontrolled DM.

Patients requiring emergency cesarian sections.

Gynaecological Patients.

Sever abdominal pain suspected ovarian torsion, Excessive menstrual bleeding.

Obstetrics.

I can deal patient for Obstetrics for antenatal, postnatal care, patients having BP, DM.

Labor room duties:

2 duties in a week for normal deliveries, assisted deliveries with minor procedures.

Operating room procedure.

Elective and emergency caesarian sections.

I did dilatation and curettage for retained products of conception.

Caesarian section initially under supervision and later independently.
