Objective
To enhance my professional skills, capabilities and knowledge in an organization which recognizes the value of hard work and trusts me with responsibilities and challenges. I believe that my confidence along with my unique blend of education, knowledge and on-the-job training can and will make me an asset to the right organization.
Experience
Cell/Utility Driver
International Paper
My job duties were to satisfy customer orders and complete shipping and receiving directives while always striving to achieve Company goals. My job requirements were utilizing a power industrial truck, customer job cards and an RFID Inventory tracking application. My biggest challenge was prioritizing a job task versus job requirement. Transforming from a day one liability into a high level contributor was my biggest accomplishment. Plant Manager
Vortex Liquid Color
As the Plant Manager I was entrusted with coordinating/delegating daily operations for a liquid color manufacturing facility supervising seven individuals ages 18-57, and varying levels of skill and experience. I oversaw the production of high quality, high volume liquid color to some of the biggest manufacturers in the plastics industry.
I was proud to be part of a team that year after year set and broke production and shipping records. Several company goals and milestones were achieved during my time including one million pounds produced and shipped. More responsibilities of my position included: Shipping & Receiving, Batch Scheduling (finished goods and intermediate goods)Batch Filling, Data Collection, Inventory Management and product work off management.
Manufacturing Support
Vortex Liquid Color
Starting off at the very bottom was very challenging to say the least. In time I would learn to appreciate the opportunity and concluded that it was a necessary step in my career. My duties included industrial cleaning, basic premix activities, drum recycling, filling and shipment preparation. It was the idea that I would learn the business from the ground, up. From raw materials to finished goods. Education
