Approving them and scanning them out of inventory as well as process them correctly depending on how they're coded. Ex. Anything with gas would be considered Special Handling and have a certain process for those items. Anything with batteries is coded Hazardous Waste "Purple Label." We have things coded Hazardous Waste "Black Label" and "Red Label" as well. Certain things are coded "Return" and I have to send them back. Jump Starters have their own code and process. Other things are coded
"Dispose" in which we destroy and dispose of those items. I am Forklift Certified and efficient. I unload trucks, load defects and returns, as well as move large merchandise with the forklift. I have to motivate my direct reports to complete processes efficiently and in a timely manner. I have to drive sales and company programs like extended service plans and Inside Track Club Memberships. I have cash handling skills. I count all tills and make deposits and change orders. I open and close the store. There are times when I have to change or alter the schedule or move things around. I inform my managers of any and all incidents at our store. I had to coach employees in all aspects as well as deliver all write-ups. I had to delegate as well as manage and measure work to get everything finished by deadlines. I assisted in writing and delivering direct reports reviews.
