COMMUNICATION

I have briefed heads of state on current situations in disasters and emergency situations. I was an Emergency Operations Officer in the U.S. military. Instructed at the U.S. Military Academy (West Point) and am a current instructor for the National Trauma Surgeons (Stop The Bleed Program)

LEADERSHIP

I am currently in leadership positions within the international organization Team Rubicon (Veteran based disaster response group). I am certified through FEMA at the Command and General Staff levels, for disaster management and operations.

Assistant Chief in the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) program for Veterans thru several organizations (Wounded Warrior Program, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Somalia Veterans Association).

I am a certified Stop The Bleed Instructor thru the American College of Surgeons and The Committee on Trauma. I am also certified to conduct and certify new instructors for the Stop The Bleed Program as well.

I am a Nationally Certified CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management) counselor. This is the program used to debrief and assist officers who may have been directly involved in a traumatic incident (or witnessed): IE: use of deadly force, involvement in body recovery or incidents that can lead to or cause a Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder conditions.

I currently hold the following FEMA disaster certifications: ICS-200, ICS-102, ICS-010, ICS-300, ICS-400, ICS-500, ICS-800. All FEMA disaster certifications can be produced on demand for verification.

I am also a Graduate / Certification holder from the National Academy of Emergency Medical Dispatch (NAEMD) of the United States of America

I also hold certifications in Emergency Response to Terrorism (Domestic and Forien)
