Software Skills.

Eclipse 3D dynamic modelling (100 & 300) software.

Oilfield database management (OFM) software.

Petroleum Experts Suite (Prosper, MBAL, GAP).

MS office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).

Experience.

Nigerian Agip Oil Company (Eni Nigeria) - Petroleum Engineering Operations Dept, Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Reservoir Petroleum Engineering Coordinator.

10/2013 - Current.

Gas Master Plan (GMP)

Successfully evaluated company’s current and future gas commitments (domestic gas obligations & export markets) totalling 16.20Tscf using Petroleum Experts Ltd’s General Allocation Program (GAP).

GAP generated an integrated asset model (IAM) comprising over 24 fields, 190 completion strings, 150 reservoirs, 18 surface facilities and technical specifications of thousands of kilometres of pipeline network infrastructure.

Process resulted in the development of a modifiable Gas master Plan (GMP) model of the company’s entire current and future gas infrastructure & supply commitments.

Project identified current and future developments that resulted in 16.70Tscf of gas reserves (P1+P2) which enabled the company successfully plan for its current and future gas infrastructure, internal use and commercial commitments.

Model was also used to evaluate various other projects such as gas flaredown; flowstation upgrade; gas recovery; gas debottlenecking; gas supply & power generation; and LNG upstream gas supply.

Simulation facilitated identification and removal of bottlenecks & backpressure constraints along the system which resulted in efficient and optimal gas production.

Final model successfully presented to JV partners and Nigeria’s oil sector regulatory body.

Reservoir Studies & Field Development Plans (FDPs)

Built and optimized 3D simulations of 10 fields using classical reservoir engineering tools.

Successfully generated four completed field development plans (FDPs) and 17 current status field reports to meet new regulatory requirements thereby avoiding closure of the assets by regulators on failure to comply.

Hydrocarbon Reserves Monitoring & Updating

Reservoir Engineering focal point in the multidisciplinary team tasked with updating company’s official hydrocarbon reserves figures with results from completed and approved full-field integrated reservoir studies & FDPs. Over 40 field assets involved.

Integrated Reservoir Management Plans (IRMPs)

Responsible for generating and yearly update of IRMPs, on flowstation basis, for 2 flowstations with a total of 7 fields, 67 reservoirs and 55 wellbores.

Documents provide framework for the management of assets in terms of field development and production optimization activities.

The target of the document is to evaluate subsurface risks and performances to provide the next year action plan and target KPIs. This information is also supported by additional sections reporting reservoir management strategy, performance assessment and asset description.

The main objective is to provide a framework for managing the fields, maximizing economic recoveries, minimizing project risks while maintaining the highest environmental and safety standards.

Field Asset Reviews

Reservoir Engineer of the multidisciplinary team tasked with reviewing the company’s field assets in the Swamp Area (14 fields, around 150 reservoirs, around 200 strings). Over 10 infill and 35 intervention opportunities were identified with 15MMstb and 50Bscf reserves.

Activity involving the use of engineering and geological data – recent flowtests, back-allocated production data, historical SBHP/gradient survey, RST, PLT, correlation panels, saturation maps, well logs, well intervention history & completion sketches, PVT, lab watercut analyses, HIIP volumes & reserves, rig schedules – to analyze reservoir/well production performance to identify and prioritize intervention (workover, rigless) & infill opportunities.

External/Alternative Funding of Projects.

Evaluated and identified 36 infill well opportunities (adding reserves of over 50MMStb & 200Bscf) from four development projects across the company’s land and swamp operating locations.

Workshops with JV Partners, Government Oil & Gas Industry Investment Managers & Compliance Regulators.

Successfully defended the technical and financial merits of reserves evaluation updates, integrated full field reservoir studies, field development plans and external/alternative funding of projects in Lagos, Abuja and Milan.

Nigerian Agip Oil Company (Eni Nigeria) - Petroleum Engineering Operations Dept, Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Reservoir Engineer.

10/2007 - 10/2013.

As field data recipient and custodian, supported reservoir/well monitoring & surveillance operations and data analyses to formulate appropriate production constraint mitigation strategy/plan and recommendations to increase asset value.

Helped to improve field data acquisition procedure by promptly flagging faulty data, thereby saving cost of tool redeployment and re-acquisition and guaranteeing useful data was sent to base.

Efficiently monitored and interpreted field and individual well performance against documented KPIs and promptly recommended remedial activities which ensured continued optimum and economical petroleum resources production.

Updated reservoir & well models with new data, re-ran simulations to compare behaviour with forecasts, and presented findings to senior colleagues promptly and in format that facilitated informed decision-making.

Developed field development plans & reservoir management strategy using reservoir simulation model, which provided holistic & optimal asset development.

Developed and maintained strong working relationships with field operational colleagues in Petroleum Engineering, Drilling, Project, Production & Operation sections.

Halliburton – Wireline Logging & Perforating Dept, Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Technical Professional.

04/2001 - 09/2006.

Improved overall team’s performance and service-delivery efficiency, by promptly diagnosing faults/breakdowns and repairing surface panels and downhole tools during wireline logging operations out on field locations.

Reviewed & redesigned maintenance procedures and methodology used for tracking records of maintenance history of tools which facilitated easy and quick determination of status and improved efficiency.

Deployed and operated real-time operations (RTO) infrastructure at clients’ field locations which enabled quick data transmission to base, facilitating quick decision-making, efficiency improvements & cost savings.

Identified and shared field location tool behavioural observations and worked with HQ to develop improvements in planned and scheduled maintenance programs, and documented upgrade and modification procedures.

Implemented preventing maintenance programs using reviewed procedures which resulted in increased tool performance, cost savings and improved budget management.
