Job Overview:

The General Laborer is responsible for daily construction labor work for building interiors and exteriors. The position requires that the person be able to meet the physical demands of the job.

General Responsibilities:

Complete construction duties as direction by immediate supervisor to include but not limited to debris removal, painting, plaster repairs, framing, job site cleanup.

General building maintenance, including interior and exterior.

Sign maintenance and upkeep.

Replace batteries, light switch plates, light bulbs, furnace filters and foundation covers.

Maintain a clean and neat appearance.

All other duties as may be required.Keep work area clean and organized.

Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.

Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions.

Maintain a good working relationship and provide excellent customer service to, other departments, tenants, employees and guests.

Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the property Employee Handbook.

Qualifications:

Previous experience preferred.

Possession of valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Ability to:

Work cohesively as part of a team

Communicate effectively and work well under pressure.

Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Receive and follow both verbal and written instructions.

Physical Requirements:

Must be available to work weekends, holiday, and evening hours.

Must be able to work independently and without close supervision.

Requires written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to speak and hear

Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Frequent standing and walking with sitting at times.

Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift/move 100 pounds.

Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills

Working Conditions

May be indoor or outdoor setting

Varied weather conditions are expected

May work on high or precarious places
