Head recovery team within Umoja, Kayole and Comarocks Viking Consult Ltd: Team Leader, (Jan 2017 to Jan 2018) Viking Consult, an integrated marketing agency was contracted by KBL to recruit and list Keg Retailers (Project Nafasi) within Western and Central regions on their behalf in line with the projected production growth of Keg regular and black in Kisumu. We were also contracted by Diageo (EABL) to roll out and monitor Project lighthouse in their outlets and grow the on-trade brand visibility.

-As a team leader I was to align the routes to be followed by the keg outlet recruiters within the western region and identify the areas with higher concentration of potential clients. Also liaise with the KEG TMRs within the region to identify new outlets and list them Work hand in hand with the foot soldiers to directly participate in the recruitment process and assist in areas that may seem to be of a challenge to the team. 1.Do a weekly report of number of outlets visited, number of potential clients, outlets closed and future follow ups. (Triangle report) and send to the team leader. 2.As an Account Executive in project lighthouse, I had been tasked with coming up with regional marketing and branding budgets in outlets (Bars) for the 3 core brands i.e., Tusker, Guinness and Kenya cane (UDV) for project light house roll out.

3.Setting up a Project Management team to roll out the Project Lighthouse campaign in the Bars and doing End to End management of the project. That entails cost management, staff recruitment, training and reporting feedback on status of the project.

4.Evaluating the impact of the project and justification of ROI on the outlets, and whether they have been converted from low selling outlets to Key accounts within the region (Beacon outlets). 5.Keeping track of competitor marketing strategies and providing feedback to various stakeholders within the organization and the client in general and also presenting the project status to the client. 4

Red Hot a design, branding and experiential marketing agency had been contracted by Coca Cola to come up with unique campaigns for Coca Cola and execute them. Other than executing, set the executional standards that other agencies were to maintain.

1. As an account manager I kept tabs with Coca Cola marketing team and unlocked potential branding projects that were likely to kick-off

2. Reviewed & tracked project expenditures and allocations against budget 3. Did trade visits with Coca Cola marketing team and collected briefs and reviews thereafter sit with creative team and came up with topnotch mock ups for clients 4.
