Prepared TiO2 nanofibres using green technology by super critical CO2 method to use them in photovoltaic solar cell, self cleaning coating and water treatment and microbial applications.

Prepared V2O5 malodorous nanorods by super critical CO2 method for vis-NIR photovoltaic applications

Prepared mesoporous graphene sheets with ultra high surface area using oxidation and thermal expansion to apply them as photovoltaic super conducting charge careers in solar cells.

Prepared silver and gold plasmonic nanoparticles by thermal vacuum evaporation (spattering), colloidal, sol- gel synthesis, bottom up controlled self assembly on functionalised surface, by a technique of nanosphere lithography and a core-shell technique; and used them to exploit plasmonic support in ultra sensitive spectroscopic analysis by surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) and shell isolated nanoparticles’ enhanced fluorescence (SHINEF).

Characterized the nanoparticles by UV-Vis Absorption, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), SEM and TEM.

Engineered the control of nanoparticles’ architectures: shapes, sizes and aggregations to achieve highest electromagnetic enhancement (nano antenna in UV-Visible- near IR region); and assessed the localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) by optical excitation using monochromatic lasers of different wavelengths

(325 nm, 514 nm, 633 nm and 785 nm) employed in Micro-Raman ( Renishaw InVia and System 2000) spectroscopy.
