COLONY BRANDS – (Swiss Colony) work from home customer service

Attalla, Alabama 11/2020 through present. (company is in Monroe, WI)

Working part time for Colony Brands (Swiss Colony) taking inbound calls to take orders or help customers with accounts receivable or returns. I love the work from home environment and really like customer service. Reason for leaving: Would like to work full time and they do not offer full time to anyone.

RETIRED IN 2016 BUT Still Working:

During most of 2017 and until mid 2020, I worked temporarily for several call centers and usually a year in each in order to learn. Some of those call centers included General Dynamics, Medicare/Obamacare, Direct Express, Transamerica Insurance, and an independent insurance company selling mortgage insurance.

MULTIBAND/DIRECTV CALL CENTER

Richmond, KY from 3/2010 through 12/2016 (7 years)

Called dispatcher/trackers, we were liaison between the customer and installation techs for Direct TV keeping customers informed of arrival times and any other concerns and closing tech’s orders along with keeping notes on orders of all information from Supervisor, customer, and tech and closing order. These notes were transcribed while the tech or customer or supervisor talked. We kept in touch with the tech’s supervisor and received any information and “OK’s from them to do with the actual installation of the job. Worked 13 hour days 5 and 6 days per week. Reason for leaving: moved entire call center to the Philippines

Verizon: 411 Call center

Lexington, KY from 2/2001 through August 2009 (almost 10 years)

Called service assistant (SA) in my area I answered 411 calls with each call taking less than 13 seconds each. We were checking for names and phone numbers from several states which included miss-calls (emergency usually) where patrons actually meant to call 911. I handled passed calls from operators with problem calls such as emergencies and government calls and continued until customer satisfaction was reached. Adherences to their policies were strict and enforced. This was a 24/7 call center and I usually worked 60-80 hours weekly. Reason for leaving: moved entire call center to the Philippines

I do hold a valid KENTUCKY HEALTH AND LIFE LICENSE

When Covid shut everything down I started actively securing jobs online. Now I want to work full time on line. I have moved permanently from Kentucky to Alabama and am enjoying that move more and more, especially since I can work from home.
