Introduction
I have worked as a trauma nurse for most of the past 30 years. I retired in 2019. I have mainly worked travel contracts. I am not looking for a nursing position. I do like to work with people. I have a vast amount of experience in the medical field. It is not easy to squeeze my working life into a few pages, but the preceding is a condensed version. I have always endeavored to be a well-rounded and well-educated individual.
During some of my time between nursing jobs, I have worked in some third world countries helping small communities to have better health, nutrition, and hygiene. I have worked through some terrible epidemics in poor conditions.
I am looking for a part time job in a healthcare setting. I am a loyal employee and have great empathy for the people in my care.
I know my CV can be a bit confusing, but I have always tried to work in areas where I can do the most good.
I also have experience in maintenance management, logistical management and supervision, facilities management for a large production facility.
In addition to my employment, I am a professional photographer, and I teach wilderness medicine at various venues. I write curriculums for many different subjects pertaining to medical care. I am experienced in teaching these curriculums also.
For one and a half years prior to the above, I worked at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in through the VA. During this time I gained experience in grounds keeping within the National Cemetery system to include, mowing and trimming, weed trimming, grave maintenance, setting grave stones, FTA of stones, maintenance and cleaning of equipment, maintenance and cleaning of roads within the cemetery, ice and snow removal, mower and various other equipment operation, raise and realignment of grave stones, seeding and fertilization of green areas, excavating for interments, building and facility maintenance, sodding of areas, documentation of all procedures within the cemetery, assisting with interments.
I am an RN with 30 years of experience working mainly in Emergency Rooms and Risk Management, with 6 of those years working in Home Health and Hospice, including 4 years as a Clinical Director for a large home health agency in Florida.
