Cedar City, UT – I worked at the Contractor Pro Desk. This job involved assisting building contractors with bids on materials needed for various construction projects. These projects could be anything from putting in a fence to building an entire house. My job was to interpret their blueprints and help them decide material quantities and then provide the contractor with a bid on the needed materials. I would then process the order and arrange for either pick up or delivery of purchases. I also assisted walk-in customers with home improvement projects to help them decide what the best course of action might be for them to get the most for their money. Expertise in the construction business was a must for this job. All bids were completed on the computer using a variety of programs to help meet the customer’s needs.
