company, based out of San Francisco, California focused on the discovery and development of novel therapies to treat cancer, and autoimmune disorders.

Responsibilities (Reporting to Senior Vice-president, IT)

• Helpdesk Management: Monitor IT service desk and delegate service issues and or requests to the team and ensure technical resolution of escalated issues.

• Infrastructure Management: Liaise with internal

Technology team (4 direct reports) and external

consultants to upgrade IT infrastructure adhering to change control process.

• Project Management: Define& develop project plans, delegate resources, and oversee project

accomplishment within approved budgets and timelines.

• Budget Management: Proactively analyze systems,

processes, and infrastructure and propose upgrades or process automation by defining business case(s) for the project(s) approval & funding.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Led interdepartmental projects involving multiple stakeholders as part of process automation and new systems implementation.

• Change/Release Management: Ensure changes to

controlled systems are implemented according to internal IT SOP.

• Internal Audits: Participate in yearly Quality audits and are responsible for addressing findings in the audit. Key Accomplishments

Handled projects ranging from $500k to $ 10 million.

• Data Center – UPS upgrade: Worked with multiple

stakeholders including the global IT and Facilities team and successfully replaced obsolete 40Kv APC

UPS with an upgraded model of 48Kv UPS.

• Virtualization – Planned and oversaw configuration of the virtual cluster with ESXi nodes to phase out

obsolete physical servers which help the business

realize cost savings of roughly $100K per year.

• Infrastructure servers – Leveraged Virtual

infrastructure to deploy File server, DHCP, and DNS servers to ensure stability, security, availability, and scalability.

• Network Infrastructure upgrade – Replaced obsolete on-prem Network gear with Cloud-based Meraki

infrastructure and ensured reduced Toc, mitigating security threats, and faster and reliable network

connectivity.

• Working closely with direct reports, engineers, and OEM consultants to define, design, and deploy

applications, and systems, and attend to issues and outages.
