Dear Sir/Madam,
I became aware of your position in your company. I would like the opportunity to be considered for the position and have attached my resume for your consideration. I adapt to any environment quickly and would love the opportunity to become an asset to your staff. On my resume I worked at my friends company for 3 months as front office receptionist and moved into scheduling tech teams and appointment along with booking My biggest accomplishment was being the first woman promoted to Food & Beverage Manager at Medieval Times. I managed and operated the bar staff, kitchen staff and serving staff of approximately 150 employees. During our dinner show we could serve 1426 guests in our arena with the show going on live. I adapted well to on the spot problem solving from guest or staff issues, complaints or concerns. I’m a hands on manager and enjoy customer service.
I also worked for 3 months at a friends office as administrative assistant. I handled front desk requirements as well as the service and sales departments. I scheduled techs and sales teams. Ordered necessary equipment needed billed and balanced month end book keeping. Outgoing mail as well as all phone email correspondence. I didn’t list in my jobs since it was such a short period of time.
I received my first management experience (working with the public) in 1981 at the age of seventeen as a Breakfast Manager for Hardee’s in Opp, Alabama, where I worked for 6 years. I have nearly 35 years experience in the Food & Beverage service industry including Fast Food, Full Service restaurants and Catering. I have strong employee relations as well as customer service skills and especially skilled handling skills for the good of the entire company. I am hard working and dedicated to the success of the company I work for as well as its employees. I am experienced in inventories, payroll and training. As a school bus driver good relationships with the parents has been beneficial in ensuring a safe passage daily on our routes to and from school. I have been requested year after year from my parents on my route to continue to be their child/childern’s driver, as a result now I am watching my bus babies graduate high school.
I am a fast learner and follow all saftey rules. I have worked with all age groups during my career with the public. I have been faced with customers who have spat in my face, screamed and yelled and have had a complete melt down. I remain calm in any situation and act quickly to remedy the situation at hand with courtesy and professionalism. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Patricia J. Carabajal
