As it is my responsibility to be punctual and dependable, I consider myself as being responsible and reliable. I like to treat others with as much respect as I expect in return. I have a pretty big heart and like to think of my heart as the special quality that comes along with me as a person because I enjoy helping others and learning new things.

Work Experience

Chipotle Crew Member

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Cambridge, MA

September 2020 to February 2021

My primary duty, I was just like a team member. I worked on the line. We all rotated. Worked in the kitchen, helped out washing dishes and stuff. I was a line worker at Chipotle. There were several duties; you could be in the meat portion, you actually distribute the meat and beans, or you could be in the tortilla machine, where you press the tortillas and get them ready, or you could be the sauce person, or the burrito roller. I was actually good at all the duties you had there, I was all across the line, but I was also in the back prepping the food as well. With that, you’re expected to wash the food for cooking, as well. It could get crazy when we got a little busy. Working at chipotle is not for people who are always putting in a good amount of effort in their work. I honestly found this out too late and regret ever doing my best at my store. Not only does everyone have favorites, but if you happen to make one person mad, the entire store becomes your worst enemy. And working with management that doesn’t really care about a lot of things makes it harder to enjoy working, because you end up having to do more work when some coworkers decide that they don’t want to do something. And having your managers not really like you makes it even harder. Now by no means was I an exceptional worker, but I made sure that I did my job correctly and efficiently every time. You always had someone that would partly finish most of their duties, or complained about doing another thing, and honestly it would get pretty old and it would make me like working less and less. I don’t like to complain about things at work, and definitely don’t like to bother people when working; to the point that I don’t converse much with anyone, this would later become an issue and people would actively avoid me. Now if I was to actively converse with people they would say that I am not doing my job. I find that everyone has their favorites, and honestly I don’t care about such things; but when you bring that stuff into the workplace, it starts to mess with a lot of things. To conclude do not work at Chipotle if you don’t mind working without recognition, proper training, dreadful management, lazy coworkers, and just being degraded for trying to do your best. Education
