I began apprenticing spring of 2019 with a horseshoer by the name of David Arnold from Bozeman, Montana. In November of 2019 I moved to Bigfork, Montana where I committed to a 2-year apprenticeship with Glacier Horseshoeing, owned by Jesse Johnston. I fulfilled that time in November 2021 and have continued to work partly with Glacier Horseshoeing and partly have my own clientele and farrier outfit under my business, All Terrain Horseshoeing.

My duties were: operating heavy equipment (loaders, john deere tractors), feeding/care of 200 head of high-end quarter horses, maintaining water systems, facilities maintenance, basic vehicle maintenance. I did these duties independently. Also worked alongside on-site veterinarian for horse care needs. Worked in all weather conditions, 6 days per week. Left this position to pursue my horseshoeing apprenticeship.
