Worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer on product shipments, which included the review of purchase orders, specifications, drawings, and certifications to assure compliance to quality requirements. D) Product Engineer for titanium specialty products division (commercial applications). Reviewed customer requirements, drawings and specifications to order the tool builds and necessary processing and inspection fixtures. Ordered the internal paperwork/instructions for processing the development trials. Reviewed the inspection/testing data for accuracy and quality and adjusted instructions as needed to meet the customer’s requirements for quality/delivery, and assembled First Article packages per customer requirements as needed.

E) Assured part quality through issuance of customer requirements to the manufacturing and inspection areas for various aerospace, land-base, and commercial customers. Reviewed drawings, purchase orders, and specifications. Corrective Action and Quality Improvement Engineer Performed first inspection operation and alloy verification on all product after casting and shell removal. Issued daily report of part quality. Collected various data on recurring defects and worked very closely with Engineering and Process Control to establish cause and corrective actions. Helped establish a more uniform data reporting method and began written documentation of the job procedures and techniques. Quality Assurance Technician

Assembled source substantiation packages for fixed process and part/process changes. Duties included laying out castings to customer plans, planning the sequence of operations, issuing various work instructions as needed, and collecting the required data/instructions and reports for presentation to the customers. Materials Testing Laboratory: Performed mechanical testing of all metal types requiring tensile tests (IN718, 17-4 PH, Ti- 6-4, Ti 6-2-4-2, 410 SS, etc.). Recommended an engine lathe and assisted in purchase of electronic tensile testing machine, elevated tensile equipment, Rockwell Hardness tester, and stress-rupture testing equipment. Established procedures and conducted training for testing, calibration, and maintenance of the test equipment and machining/threading test bars. F) Quality Assurance Technician

Performed mechanical testing of all metal types requiring tensile tests (Inconel, Stainless Steels, Titanium, Etc.) as well as other types of materials (tubing, wire, plywood, fiberglass, and composites). Established procedures for new types of tests and performed necessary training of other technicians. Maintained calibration and maintenance of testing equipment. Performed some metallography, heat treatments, and fatigue testing. I was the main contact for customer source/witnesses of various tests. EDUCATION
