• Performed underground locations of existing plant using system prints, and cable locating

equipment in order to prevent cable damage and service interruption.

• Troubleshoot the plant through the distribution cable to the node in order to restore video,

CSHI, or CDV as required. Survey the plant in order to insure service availability to potential

customers.

• Performed CLI ride-out and track and repair leakages. Worked and traveled in inclement

weather with company provided bucket truck.

• Performed construction maintenance duties, which includes splicing aerial/underground

coaxial cable and equipment.

• Worked within manufacturers rated weight capacity for all equipment, including but not

limited to ladders and aerial lifts.

Comcast – Field Technician December 2009 to February 2016

• Responded in a timely fashion to customer locations to service their cable issue or install

• Tested existing systems with which were experiencing problems

• Tested lines and signals using meters and tools

• Troubleshoots the drop from the tap to the customer's equipment. Installs and removes

converters in order to provide customer with upgrades or downgrades in service and

determines acceptability of service by reviewing picture quality following connection of

cable service in order to provide the best possible service for the customer

• Provides the customer with materials regarding channel line-up, use of converter, and

company policies as they relate to the customer as well as demonstrates these skills in

order to educate the customer on the use of the equipment and company guidelines

• Successfully completed intensive technician training course provide by Comcast.
