Chief Inspector ILI Projects March 2019-January 2022

Northern Natural Gas Company, Wisconsin & Minnesota & Texas & Kansas & Iowa

Participated in multiple different projects: AC Mitigation, Valve Replacement, 36X30” Launcher/Receiver, Mainline 30’ valve replacement, 24” receiver replacement and other Special Projects and 24” Receiver install. The projects included Stopple Work, Bypassing, Civil & Electrical Inspection, and coordinated road closures. Worked with various contractors without any safety incidents. Produced and maintained all documents needed for Job Closeout Box for all projects.

Chief Inspector Fremont 1-6” Replacement August 2018-December 2018

Northern Natural Gas Pipeline., Fremont NE

As Chief inspector, we a replaced 6” natural gas supply line to Fremont; including heat exchanger, valve settings, stopple work, mainline tie-in and upgraded grounding grid. The odorizer and all appurtenances were demoed off of Ridge Road, with the site being restored back to nature. I coordinated the start-up process with the City of Fremont and Operations. The job peaked with 21 men with zero safety incidents. As a stand-alone Chief Inspector, materials, welding, job closeouts and electrical installations were all within my direct responsibilities.

Senior Welding Inspector. March 2018-June, 2018

Baltimore Gas & Electric., Marietta, OH

The BG&E Manor Station upgrade added 2-metering stations along with regulating skids. The upgrade included a line size increase to 36” with associated piping being 24” down to 12”. I tracked all spool fabrication, red line material tracking and NDE logistics at the fab shop in Marietta Ohio. Also, I performed a visual inspection on all welds with film review as needed. Once the shop was accustomed to API 1104, the fabrication went smooth. I accepted all material coming into shop and all loads of spools for delivery to field for a total of 376 spools delivered to Baltimore Maryland. I worked directly with Engineering to accomplish the job without incident.

Material Coordinator Natural Gas Meter Station September 2017-February, 2018

Williams-Engineering Services., Springville, PA

The Atlantic Sunrise project consisted of multiple tasks at a regulator station that will connect midstream pipeline to Central Penn Line North. Duties included coordinating logistics, delivery and receiving, and documentation of all materials and equipment from suppliers in order to maintain work flow. Other activities included verifying materials and inspection of the workmanship on skids in order to install to specifications of the purchase order. Additionally, the verification included inspections of all equipment were in good working condition. Final duties included maintaining and tracking the documents for job closeout.

Facilities Inspector Natural Gas Compressor Facility May 2017-August, 2017

Tulsa Inspection/Representing Sanchez Oil & Gas., Carrizo Springs, TX

This project consisted of installing compressors and associated equipment for gas lift purposes. Responsibilities included: selecting contractors, selecting material suppliers, and selected controls contractors through the bid process. Peaked with six (6) pipe crews, rotating on nine (9) different sites. Coordinated 225 Ton Crane work, NDE Crew, and Hydro Static Testing Crew as needed. Planned and scheduled job from bid process through commissioning. Redlined drawings and maintained job close out books, all the while keeping management aware of costs. No safety incidents occurred.

Certified Welding Inspector Product Distribution System September, 2016-December 2016

Marathon Petroleum., Muncie, Indiana

This project consists of work for distribution system for gasoline, diesel, and additives in Muncie, Indiana. Responsibilities included welding inspection, maintaining redlines for documentation, Non Destructive Examination (NDE) coordination and documentation for three petroleum facilities during pipe fabrication and upgrade work, and worked with a team to hydro test piping associated with the project. The project involved going to the Muncie Station to install pipping and civil construction duties (painting and coating). Additional duties included the following: industrial engineering duties for pipe layout to better suit operations and maintenance personnel during install, record keeping for received materials for turnover for job closeout, and hydro testing onsite. The project completed safely and ahead of schedule.

Certified Welding & Composite Inspector Main Line March, 2016-September 2016

Spectra Energy., Courtlandt, New York

This project consisted of installing a main pipeline for natural gas in Courtlandt NY.

Managed 18+ welders on firing line through an urban setting in Courtlandt, NY. The project averaged 48ea.-42”, X-70, .625 WT., butt welds daily with less than .01% failure rate. Additional duties included leading a team at the Catskill Aqueduct. The Catskill project included the following: installed 42” line cased in 48” with isolators and link seal and wax sealant over the aqueduct. Additional duties at the Catskill Aqueduct included working closely with the New York Department of Environment and Protection with permit requirements, oversaw welding activities, oversaw civil engineering activities (concrete and site preparation), and oversaw 300 ton crane activity. Project was successfully completed safely in an urban setting.

Mechanical Inspector LNG Export System November, 2015-March 2016

General Electric., Schertz, Texas

This project consisted of assembling natural gas booster station skids for LNG export system. Responsibilities included welding inspection, coordinating Non Destructive Examination (NDE) of x-ray welds, redlines of documentation, hydro testing, and final checkout for Shell. Inspection was performed on LNG skids via composite drawings and P&IDs. Worked with a team to maintain safety, quality, and high productivity.

Senior Welding Inspector August, 2015-October, 2015

Spectra Energy Compressor Facility Upgrade., Stony Point, New York

This fast paced project was an upgrade to a compressor facility. The upgrades included increasing mainline from 26” to 42”, increasing horsepower by 15,000 by using Mars 100 package with 3 coolers, a separator, and their associated controls. Responsibilities included tracking 16 welders onsite with fabrication coming from offsite, coordinated NDE, provided a weld mapping of each weld, and redlined all drawings. Other duties included assisting in mechanical inspection of the compressors, and bolt up torqueing and tensioning of all bolts. Walked down all systems to inspect and verify the install was built to Spectra and manufacturing specifications. Assisted in the pre-hydro, post-hydro and accepted hydro testing and also assisted in the tie-in planning of the facility.

Material Manager October, 2014-August, 2015

Kinder Morgan CO2 Project., Cortez, Colorado – Denver City, TX

This project consisted of installing new pumps at a 9 transfer station to increase the horsepower in the existing mainline and installing bypasses at each station. The job required Stop Work procedure. Responsible for setting up a remote warehouse for all 9 jobs and managing the logistics from a supplier in Albuquerque, NM. Additional duties included setting up, maintaining, and closing out all documentation for 5 of the 9 mentioned stations.

Mechanical Inspector Booster Pump Station July, 2014-October, 2014

ICSI/Representing Harvest Pipeline., Three Rivers, TX

This project consisted of retrofitting an oil booster pump station by adding a booster pump to mainline, increasing the line size for storage to launcher from 16” to 24”, and introduced one additional tie-in from a new partner. Responsibilities included scheduling work for 47 workers with associated trades, provided redline documentation, produced weld map for the pump station, and produced drawings used for construction and job closeout with engineering and managers verbal information. Planned Hydrotest and tie-ins where preformed and coordinated with all participating parties and no safety incidents or injuries occurred.

I & E Inspector Truck Loading Facility & Pump Station April, 2014-July, 2014

This project consists of setting four 3,600 Exterran Package units with coolers for a natural gas

truck loading facilities.

Certified Welding Inspector / Senior Pipeline Inspector September, 2012,-March, 2014

Tulsa, Oklahoma

Participated in multiple projects, main gas line of 36” x 70” .531 wall thickness’ for Flanagan South Project from Quincy, Illinois to Concordia, Missouri and dual line 12” liquid (128 Miles), 24” gas line with a total of 105 miles in the Eagle Ford Shale area, and directional drilled Atascosa, Frio, Escondido, and IH 37 and others. Responsibilities included inspection of welds utilizing eleven wielding procedures. As Welding Inspector, I made sure all welds adhered to all required specifications. Additionally, I coordinated with survey land men and land owners over five counties. The job tracked four job numbers and provided production reports daily. Was directly responsible for fourteen drills and seventy-three road bores. I also handled all preliminary hydro testing and mainline testing, cleaning and drying, and purged for start-up. As Senior Inspector, I communicated with welding inspectors and utility inspectors alongside with chief and in direct line with all contractors. Responsibilities also included installing three pump stations with two different general contractors under the construction manager, mechanical inspection on pumps stations, and assisted with the I&E inspection and system startup
