Implemented the first second sourcing and logistics strategy which delivered $8M in YOY savings with a spend of $42M for one 3PL supplier. Executing for Results Implemented an improved ERP and TMS global logistics system which provided data visibility from customer order, warehouse management to last mile delivery to customers. Delivered freight cost savings projects generating $200M in net annual cost savings and $32M in improved cash benefit via a supplier financing initiative. (DuPont Industrial Bio Sciences)
Continuous Improvement Led, developed and implemented business processes to integrate a new SAP system and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) processes for the organization. (GCP Applied Technologies). Developed and implemented the first SLA (Service Level Agreement) for the High Point, NC site, which delivered $650K YOY savings (Akzo Nobel). Implemented the first International Trade Compliance organization focusing on Duty Drawback, International Freight Management and Global Freight Forwarders compliance. YOY savings delivered $1M on Duty Drawback refunds and $3M from the Global Ocean freight bid.

Recruited by the Vice President, Global Supply Chain to implement and lead the global logistics organization, developed the first global logistics strategy. Collaborating directly with Manufacturing, Sales, R&D and Customer Service to develop and deploy logistics, inventory, and warehousing key performance metrics which align with the company strategy and meets customer expectations across a global distribution network.

Developed and implemented a global logistics, procurement and operations strategy which delivered $5M YOY savings with a $42M 3PL spend vendor. Implemented root cause cost analysis, SWOT, Krajlic and SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) processes.

Recruited to DuPont by a Global Supply Chain Manager. At the time, I was the Asia Pacific Regional Manager for Mitsui OSK Lines based in Hong Kong. In this role, I was responsible for the procurement and freight cost optimization for a $300M freight spend. DuPont was the country’s seventh largest exporter. Implemented a port optimization program in Shenzhen, China and created a Hub concept in Singapore - delivered $32M YOY savings.

Responsible for a team of 3 Direct and 10 Indirect employees, responsible for implementing the lowest total cost of ownership program, which focused on which activities to do insource vs out- source, improve supply chain systems, freight payment process, utilize data and metrics to drive decision making. Promoted to this role. Responsible for a $600M spend and team of 7 Direct and 23 Indirect employees. Consolidated 14 warehouse sites. Negotiated and improved contract terms and conditions. Represented DuPont in Washington, D.C. on Capitol Hill twice when there were proposed changes being made to the U.S. Import/Export rules and regulations. Global Ocean Freight RFQ/RFP generated $67M YOY savings.
Global Sourcing Manager, Packaging Graphics, 2008 - 2012
In this role, responsible for a $850M spend. In this role, Focus was on the first part of the end-to-end supply chain process, the buy, supply planning and demand activities. In this role I had to make many difficult decisions regarding personnel. These decisions benefited the organization, in the long term. We improved the ordering customer process by implementing an improved software system and collaborating with R&D and implemented the first second sourcing and logistics program.
