PM for the CMMI Level 5 effort; Responsible for restructuring the CMMI processes into a CMMI Level 5 format, achieving CMMI Level 5 certification for Systems and Software with no findings while reducing the budget by 42%.
PM for the ISO 9001: 2008 project; Responsible for maintaining ISO compliance and moving SIS into the SAS AS9100 system.
SCM/SQA/CM MANAGER
In addition to the tasks listed below, manage the CM Group. The SCM/SQA/CM Group is made up of ten people. We are responsible for restructuring the CMM SCM/SQA processes into a CMMI Level 3 format, achieving CMMI Level 3 certification for Systems and Software. Other responsibilities included replacing the SCM Tool (VSS) with a state of the art SCM tool (MKS) and replacing the company’s outdated document and drawing control system with a state of the art CM Tool (Omnify).

In addition to the tasks listed below, manage the SCM/SQA Group. The SCM/SQA Group is responsible for restructuring the SCM and SQA processes defined below into a CMM Level 3 format, achieving SEI CMM Level 3 certification, and maintaining company’s SEI CMM Level 3 certification.

The Test Assurance Group creates the ATP for each product from the requirements defined in each product’s System Engineering Test Plan. The Test Assurance Group writes the test code/scripts and conducts the formal Acceptance Test as documented in the ATP.
Other responsibilities include restructuring the company’s ISO 9001 engineering processes into an ISO 9000-2000 format.
SENIOR SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER
Responsibilities include creating, implementing, and maintaining a Software Quality Assurance/Software Configuration Management program into all Mykotronx projects. This was accomplished by establishing a systematic method of formally identifying, controlling, and maintaining the integrity and traceability of company produced software/firmware in accordance with DOD-STD-2167, MIL-STD-498, and ISO 9001.
Responsible for implementing company’s ISO 9001 Quality System, achieving ISO 9001 certification, and maintaining company’s ISO 9001 certification. Tasks include the following;

Design, coded, and test/debugged a Bus driver for a SCSI (Small Computer System Interface). This driver communicated with a mass storage peripheral for data storage and retrival.
Design, coded, test/debugged Bus drivers for an ARINC-429. These drivers provided the interface to the Airbus A340 onboard computers (CIDS,CMC) and the Passenger Entertainment and Cabin Management system.

Project Leader of a team of six which designed, coded, and test/debugged application and software diagnostic tests for the space shuttle's Remote Multiplexer Unit (RMU). Coding efforts included application code, memory, instruction, custom I/O), and 1553 Bus tests as well as device and interrupts drivers.
• ADVANCED APACHE HELICOPTER (AAH)
Project Leader of a team of four which evaluated and modified software running on an obsolete processor, the team modified, designed, coded, and tested the updated software to run on a new processor using the RX-11 operating system.
• PECULIAR GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT (PGSE)
Project Leader of a team of three which designed, coded and test/debugged software diagnostic tests for the PGSE S2-T test set. Coding efforts included memory, instruction, custom I/O, and 1553 Bus tests as well as device and interrupts drivers.
• S2-T (ANTI-SUBMARINE WARFARE)
Designed and implemented automatic test sequencing for the S2-T Acceptance Test Procedure resulting in a 92% savings in test duration and operator intervention.
• EA-6B (ANTI-SUBMARINE WARFARE)
Designed, coded, and finalized simulation software for the EA-6B Test Set. The Test Set software communicated with other Test Set devices to provide control of signal simulation and monitoring. Coding efforts included memory, instruction, custom I/O, and 1553 Bus tests as well as device and interrupts drivers.

Designed, coded, test/debugged software to operate on a 3435 emulator for a Burroughs 3500 computer. The successful completion of this work allowed the Air Force to replace their outdated Burroughs 3500 computers with the 3435 emulators.
• DIRECT AIR SUPPORT CENTER (DASC)
Programmer for the Operator Team Trainer portion of the DASC project; design coded, tested, and debugged the software modules designed to perform EXEC service calls and tape handling to retrieve, update, and write to files. Wrote the Computer Program Design Specification for the project.
