I am an Industrial Millwright/Mechanic with 32 years of experience and training through vocational school training as well as apprenticeship programs. My training and experience covers a wide range of industrial maintenance abilities including related electrical, heavy and light industrial machinery, pipe fitting, welding, machining, fabrication, and installation of industrial equipment. I have been involved in different levels of maintenance such as preventive maintenance, outage maintenance, and production maintenance. I also have been a part of the ERT, fire department, high angle repel/rescue, and confined space retrieval. I have a strong belief in continuing education for any area of my employment whether through on the job training or outside providers. Maintenance is an evolving area of employment that requires constant improvement on procedures to maintain best practices for our services, as well as safety for ourselves and teammates. As industries have moved forward in acknowledging safety as the first priority for all teammates involved in their processes, maintenance teams have the ability to become leaders in this area. Serving in this capacity to ensure safe practices is my top priority and the most important aspect of my employment.
